We will once again be asking Winter Olympic athlete Posy Musgrave to once again coach and instruct during the 2016 Engadin week. This week is running in conjunction with The Roller Ski Co, Thames Valley Endurance leading up to the Engadin ski marathon.
This is a new initiative to increase the number of women who take part in cross country skiing.
Working with Thames Valley Endurance Training and the Rollerski Co, over the summer months, and into the winter season we will deliver a more personal training and instruction program tailored to the needs of females in sport. Developing your roller skiing, fitness and strength, so that you are in the best possible condition for the Engadin marathon week in March 2016.
With female instructors on hand to guide you along the way at all times over the summer months and into the winter season, we will develop a personnel training program for you, let you develop your roller skiing at your own pace
Training & Instruction
The week will start with the fundamentals of classic and skating. Each day the lessons will be broken down into small and simple steps which produce a greater level of progress in classic and skating. The program for the week will be structured to each person's needs, and what they would like to improve on.
Each day there will be two training / instruction blocks, classic and skate
From the UK to Zurich or Innsbruck, A good number of airlines fly from all major airports in the UK to Zurich or Innsbruck, we recommend that you try to book the earliest flight possible and also the last flight back to the UK, this will give plenty of time for transfers into the Engadin valley by the connecting train from Zurich airport.
It is also possible to fly into Innsbruck and then take the train to Pontresina, transfer times from Zurich or Innsbruck take about 3 hours.
The other option is to travel from London to Paris then onto Zurich via train, then the connecting train service into the Engadin valley.
We will also look at a group transfer for the Team Posy group from one central location, this way you will be able to travel with ease to your accommodation.
