First-class ski instruction in both classic and skating techniques, building all the elements required to become an efficient cross-country skier. The opportunity to take part in the Dolomitenlauf Ski Marathon in Obertilliach, Skiing Level: This week is designed for everyone: complete beginners, experienced skiers, and those who have been roller skiing and want to make the transition onto snow for the first time. With the option of a half marathon, the week offers a perfect introduction to ski racing — or you can take on the full distance if you prefer. Both races are suitable for all abilities, and with no demanding climbs or descents, they provide a relaxed and enjoyable racing experience. If you’re unsure whether this trip is right for you, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to advise. Training & instruction: The week will start with the fundamentals of classic and skating. Each day the lessons will be broken down into small and simple steps which produce a greater level of progress in classic and skating. The program for the week will be structured to each person's needs, and what they would like to improve on. Returning skiers will be encouraged to progress their skills further. Each day there will be two training/instruction blocks, classic and skate, With Obertilliach so well situated, skiing from the village each day, and with coaching starting at the biathlon and cross-country ski centre which is only 1.3 km away. Obertilliach has a very good snow record and has invested heavily in increasing snow-making on the trails. |

Travel: Suggested flights to Innsbruck, we recommend that you look at flights to Innsbruck this winter to meet up with the 960x bus service. Bus & Train Information: Travel time is about 2.5 hours via the bus service and up to 4 hours via train depending on connections and airport choice.
Travel via train to Obertilliach: From all major airports, it is recommended that you travel to Tassanbach, which is the closest station to Obertilliach, and then we will arrange local pickup.
