Training & Instruction This week is for those who are new to cross-country skiing or have been skiing for one week or less, or a transition from roller skiing to on-snow for the first time. Also for those who have downhill skiing experience and wish to transfer over to cross-country skiing. The week will start with the fundamentals required to classic ski, then progress to learning to skate. Each day, the lessons will be broken down into small and simple steps that produce a greater level of progress in both techniques.
The program for the week will be structured to each person's needs and what they would like to improve on. Each day, there will be two training/instruction blocks.

It has become a favorite training area for biathletes due to its snow record, and in recent years has developed some excellent tracks and a first-rate shooting range, which has enabled it to host IBU Cup biathlon races.
