Ruhpolding is the host town for the British National cross country and biathlon championships. A large town situated on the German and Austrian border, a short distance from Salzburg by train or bus.
Race Information All races are hosted by the British Army WInter Sports Association and the British Biathlon Union. Cross country racing is open to any person from the UK, and at any level, we do suggest that if you intend to take part in the events, you should have a good fitness level and technical skiing ability, as some of the courses can be challenging.

Also Junior and youth races will be arranged depending on the entries.

NOTE: - To take part in the biathlon events, you must hold a current firearms licence, have passed a range safety test (can be arranged before the first biathlon race) and be able to ski with the rifle in a safe and competent manner
